Acadian Religious Books & Gifts
This place has been family-owned since 1963, and they offer Bibles, books with spiritual advice, calendars, journals, and more. You can also buy rosaries, crosses, charms, first communion gifts, plush toys, and prayer cards.
It has one of the best collections of Catholic statuary in the area, and it’s an excellent place to find gifts for friends and family members. They’re open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Umoja Books and Products
This place specializes in books written by African-Americans. You can find interesting nonfiction books, health advice, and even children’s books. They also offer Christmas and Kwanzaa cards, calendars, herbal supplements, tote bags, fraternity and sorority items, Bible covers, and more. They’ve been open since 2002, and they support many local African American organizations.
