This exciting, interactive experience will get your adrenaline going while you try to escape one of their extremely realistic-themed rooms. They have several different rooms you can try out with only a group of two. 

Mystery Manor takes about 60 minutes and has a murder mystery theme. The Bayou Nightmare room has a Cajun theme and gives you 60 minutes to escape a room where you are being held hostage. Tsunami Sushi Lafayette

Switch it up a bit and try out some great sushi for your next date night. Check out the menu items such as the Shishito & Shrimp, Asian Chicken Salad, or any of the great sushi rolls. Favorites include the Big Easy, Big Tuna, and the Shrimp Tempura Roll. If you’re craving some sushi but your partner isn’t a fan, they have something for everyone. Atmosphere

Atmosphere is another local hotspot for date night. They have a full dinner menu as well as a late-night menu. You can choose from their seasonally featured specials, have a drink or two and relax, or dance. They carry local craft beer and host weekly events such as different live musicians and karaoke. Atmosphere is located at 902 Johnston Street. 

Cajun Food Tours

Cajun Food Tours offers a few different tour selections depending on your time availability and price range. Even if you have seen some of the stops before, it is always a bit different when someone can take the time to explain the details to you. The Original Cajun Food Tour lets you hop on their customized tour bus and visit five local restaurants and taste some of their best foods. The price for adults is $59. 

The Walking Tour will cost you $49 a person. Over a span of three hours, you can visit several local eateries and sample their great food. They also offer a longer All-Day Cajun Experience. For $139, they will pick you up and take you on a tour of Historic Vermilionville Village, enjoy a Cajun Dance lesson with Glide Studios, ride on a swamp boat tour of Lake Martin, and get to try out some Cajun favorites such as gumbo and boudin.
