The 2020 Cadillac CT5 is a new mid-size luxury sedan coming from Cadillac and replaces the CTS and ATS. Plenty of Power
The 2020 CT5 is powered by either a high-tech 2.0-liter twin-scroll turbocharged four-cylinder engine or a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V-6. Both engines are paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0-liter engine gets 237 horsepower, while the 3.0-liter engine cranks out 335 horsepower.
The Sport trim level includes Brembo performance front brakes. The CT5 will feature a futuristic option for those wishing to kick it to the next level – Super Cruise. This Level 2 autonomous driving feature will steer, brake, and accelerate your vehicle without driver input.
Aggressive Exterior
The CT5 has an aggressive style and artistic appearance with a low and wide performance stance, fastback profile, and deep creases that run up the hood. All three models come standard with LED headlights and tail lamps. Opt for the Sport trim level and you’ll get sport grilles, fascias, rockers, and spoiler. Memory outside mirrors and auto-dimming mirrors are found on the Premium Luxury model.
Luxurious Interior
The CT5 features a driver-focused interior. An advanced infotainment center with a 10-inch diagonal high-definition center touch screen is standard on all models. The system allows you to access driver information, navigation, and apps by voice or touch. A dual-mic cloud-based natural voice recognition allows you to access the system via voice commands, or you can use the rotary wheel that is located behind the gearshift. You can listen to your favorite playlist or podcast while cruising down the road with the Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth capability.
A head-up display is available, as is an eight-speaker Bose audio system. Thanks to sound optimization with active noise cancellation, you’ll have a quiet ride. The Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels include wireless charging, so you can easily charge your devices while on the move.
Leather appointed seats, a memory driver seat, and LED interior ambient lighting come standard in the Premium Luxury model. The Sport trim level comes with 18-way adjustable sport bolstered front seats and features sporty carbon fiber interior décor and a performance steering wheel with magnesium paddle shifters.
Safety
The CT5 comes standard with a number of safety features including forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking and safety alert seat. The Premium Luxury adds rear park assist and lane change alert with side blind zone alert, while the Sport trim level also includes rear cross traffic alert.
